Showrooms
Visit a Rotex showroom in Nigeria
A window is hard to judge from a photograph. In the showroom you can feel the weight of the sash, work the handle, and hear what a second seal does when the door closes.
What is on the floor
Both showrooms hold metal uPVC and aluminium, in white and in woodgrain, with handles and hinges on sample boards so you can compare them side by side rather than from a list.
Bring drawings or rough sizes and you can leave with a written quote. If you have neither, we can arrange a survey while you are there.
Where to find us
Call ahead and we will have the samples you want to see out on the floor.
What is on the floor
Everything below is in both showrooms, working, and you are welcome to handle it.
The full range, on the floor
Metal-uPVC and aluminium, in white and in woodgrain laminations, with tilt and turn, casement and sliding units you can open yourself. A window is very hard to judge from a photograph and takes about four seconds to judge in person.
Handles and hardware on boards
The lever handles in each finish, mounted on sample boards beside their labels, so you can compare anthracite against aluminium bronze in daylight rather than on a screen.
Cut sections of the profile
The frame sawn through, so you can see the steel reinforcement inside it and the chambers around it. This is the single thing that persuades most people, because it is the part nobody can photograph convincingly.
Glass and glazing options
Double glazed units, tinted and clear, and Georgian bars sealed inside the cavity.
Somebody who knows the product
Showroom staff take sizes, explain the differences and start a quote there and then. Bring your drawings and you can leave with a price.
What to bring, and what to expect
Bring the sizes if you have them, or the drawings, or photographs of the openings on your phone. Any of the three is enough to start a quote. If you have none of them, come anyway and we will arrange for somebody to come and measure.
Expect to be asked what is wrong with the room now rather than which product you want. Too hot, too loud, too dusty, or a window that has never shut properly are all different problems with different answers, and the right specification falls out of the answer.
Nothing is charged for a visit, a survey or a quote, and nothing is owed at the end of any of them.
Visiting a showroom
Do I need an appointment?
No. Both showrooms are open during business hours and you are welcome to walk in. If you want a specific person or a particular system on the floor, calling ahead saves time.
What should I bring?
Sizes, drawings, or photographs of the openings on your phone. Any of the three is enough to start a quote. If you have none of them, come anyway and we will arrange for somebody to come and measure.
Can I actually open the windows?
Yes, and you should. Working a tilt and turn handle yourself explains the product better than anything anybody can say about it.
Will somebody try to sell me something?
You will be asked what is wrong with the room now rather than which product you want. The specification falls out of the answer.
Are there showrooms outside Nigeria?
Not yet. Abuja and Lagos are the two. Customers in Ghana, Togo, Benin and Cameroon order from measurements and drawings.
Can I get a price on the day?
Yes, if you bring sizes. Showroom staff start quotes on the spot.
