Ask for what you need
We send the relevant pages rather than a two hundred page book, because most of a catalogue is about somebody else’s building.
Tell us the type of building, roughly how many openings, and whether you want metal-uPVC or aluminium. That is enough for us to send the right thing.
What is actually in a specification sheet
For anybody specifying rather than buying: the glazing package, including the cavity and whether the unit is tinted; the hardware, by manufacturer and by rating, including the sash weight the hinges are rated to carry; the profile, including the chamber count and the steel reinforcement section; and the gasket arrangement.
Those are the four things that decide whether one quote can honestly be compared with another. Two windows described as double glazed uPVC can differ by a factor of two on every figure that matters, and the specification is where that difference is visible.
We will also put the figures in writing against your own openings if you are comparing quotes. It is a reasonable thing to ask a manufacturer for, and a difficult thing for a reseller to answer.

Comparing two quotes
Ask both companies for the profile manufacturer, the chamber count, the hardware manufacturer and the glazing package. A supplier that answers all four is quoting for the same thing you are asking about.
Specifying for a submission
We supply specification sheets suitable for a bill of quantities or an architect’s submission, with the figures attributable to the component manufacturers.

Why we would rather send than publish
A general catalogue answers the questions of a general reader, and there is no such person. An architect wants glazing packages and hardware ratings. A homeowner replacing four windows wants to know what the finishes look like and what it will cost. A dealer wants the range and the terms. Sending one file to all three wastes everybody’s afternoon.
So tell us the building, roughly how many openings, and whether you are leaning towards metal-uPVC or aluminium. That is enough for us to send the information that actually apply, and it usually arrives the same day.

Why do I have to ask rather than download?

Do I have to give my details to get them?
We need somewhere to send them. Your details are used for that and for discussing your project, and nothing else.
